Originality of reports on air accidents in the Peruvian Amazon with a military focus (1928–1983)

This work is based on secondary military sources and the object of study is the originality of the accounts of air accidents that occurred between 1928 and 1983, in order to question the specificity of such narration when they are events that take place in the Peruvian jungle. After evidencing the key role of aviation for this region, we will insist on the alleged reasons for accidents and the treatment provided by the authors. Finally, the observations will be related to the maintenance of mental representations about this space.
