Abstract

The international character of interwar antifascism in Latin America has been a focus of historiographical reflection in recent years. The historical phenomenon originated in Europe and Latin American protests have been linked to that origin. For this reason, the use of both national and international scale is essential to understanding its complexity. Accordingly, this paper presents a brief review of Latin American academic examination of antifascism, and it aims to identify the foundations of understanding for the international dimension of this phenomenon.
