In this seventh issue of Macrohistoria, we continue working to consolidate a space for dialogue on global approaches for the understanding our contemporary world. Starting from scattered issues and terrains, from the Douro valley to the port of Callao, and from suicide to the commercial debates on the denomination of origin, the articles gathered here highlight the usefulness of global analytical frameworks to think about the redefinition of Latin American social and political dynamics. The Macrohistory team thus hopes to encourage critical reflection on our contemporary world. We also hope that this new issue will be an invitation to explore new research paths.
